The great thing as well is if you have a laptop then it's portable. As long as you have a cable Internet association you can watch Tv online everywhere you have a connection. Think of the possibilities! You could be traveling over the country or even overseas and still be able to watch Tv from your home country!
Most of your friends know about iPods, but I bet they don't know about this. Like I said, it's an open secret, since you either know about it or you don't. The cable Tv providers wouldn't want you to know about it, even though it's totally legal. If you want to watch that special program, or just want an alternative way to watch Tv, then watching online Tv streaming the way to do it. Who knows, you could start a whole new trend.
